Install PocketCtrl on your Mac
Get the Mac host ready, choose Hosting, and grant the two macOS permissions PocketCtrl needs to show and control your screen.

Download PocketCtrl
On your Mac, visit the PocketCtrl download page. Open the downloaded disk image and drag PocketCtrl onto the Applications shortcut. Eject the installer when copying finishes. If you chose the ZIP alternative on GitHub, unzip it and move the app into Applications. Open it from Applications and confirm the normal macOS first-open prompt.
The Mac app is a website download, not a Mac App Store download. Download PocketCtrl for iOS from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. macOS 15.6 or later is required for the Mac companion.

Start hosting on this device
On the home screen, choose Start hosting on this device. A side panel opens with the hosting controls. Hosting means this is the Mac whose screen you want to reach from your phone, tablet, or another Mac.
The same Mac can also connect to other Macs with Connect a new Mac; the two roles do not interfere. The Mac app tour names every control in the panel.

Allow Accessibility
In PocketCtrl's Hosting panel, choose Allow beside Accessibility. macOS may take you to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
Turn PocketCtrl on there. This permission lets PocketCtrl send clicks, scrolling, and keyboard input to the Mac.

Allow Screen Recording
Choose Allow beside Screen Recording, then enable PocketCtrl in the macOS privacy settings if asked.
This permission lets PocketCtrl capture the selected display and stream it to your other device.
